In spring this year, Captive Media installed its first major US sporting venue, the Coca-Cola Baseball Stadium in Philadelphia. The installation is sponsored by the LeHigh Valley Health Network – raising awareness among men of prostate cancer issues. A single press release by the venue was picked up by the media and generated a firestorm of television and radio coverage – over 450 separate TV reports alone. CNN, ESPN, CBS, NBC all ran extensive features as well as local broadcasters across the country. Here’s a one minute montage of some of it. LeHigh Valley Health are now looking at extending sponsorship to other sites in the continental US.
