The MIT idea is used in a successful, but 1-off ad campaign. Saatchi & Saatchi put into selected German pubs, and win a prestigious award for interactive advertising, thus confirming the product’s advertising potential! For the venues, the idea stops there, perhaps because of the need to remove & modify the urinal and potential difficulties with cleaning & maintaining sensors in the bowl. We also conclude that our product should be a thing of beauty – which matches, but can’t be confused with the bowl!
